Prior Learning & Entry Requirements Policy – AET
At Bellehair Academy, we are committed to ensuring that all learners enrolling onto the Award in Education and Training (AET) are suitably prepared to achieve the qualification.

As part of our enrolment process, all applicants must provide evidence of prior learning or relevant vocational experience. This is to ensure learners have the necessary underpinning knowledge and capability to successfully complete the course.

Requirements include:
- Evidence of prior qualifications, training, or industry experience within their chosen subject area
- Sufficient literacy skills to complete Level 3 written assignments
- Confidence to plan and deliver a short teaching session (micro-teach)
- Understanding of their chosen vocational area
